PEOPLE’S LIBERATION MOVEMENT OF ANGOLA M.P.L.A B.P. 2353 TEL. 49-15 BRAZZAVILLE WAR COMMUNIQUE About 6 p.m. of last June 1st, a battery of mortars of the MPLA armed forces backed up by a barrier of machine-guns, has heavily bombed the Portuguese quarters of SANGA for half an hour. Some barrack-rooms have been completely destroyed and others quite damaged. There were many casualties on the enemy side. Hardly recovered from their astonishment, the Portuguese soldiers have spent the whole night bombing around SANGA, namely the MATANGA and MBULO villages the resident population of which had to seek shelter in the bush. THIS ACTION WAS PREPARED BY THE MPLA FIGHTERS AS A TOKEN OF SOLIDARITY TOWARDS THE CUBAN VALLANT PEOPLE AT A MOMENT WHEN THE IMPERIALISTS ARE LAUCHING A SERIOUS PROVOCATION FROM THE CUBAN SOILD OF GUANTANAMO ITSELF...
