MOVIMENTO ANTI-COLONIAL MAC =Cabo Verde-Guiné- S. Tomé e Príncipe - Angola – Moçambique= MR. A.K.BARDEN PRIME MINISTER’S OFFICE P.O.BOX M.24 ACCRA GHANA Frankfurt/Main, 28th September Dear Mr. Barden We have even now read in “LE MONDE” the deplorable notice about the decease of Mr. George Padmore. It was a great loss for the African world, due to the fact that Mr. Padmore was a cleaver and active diplomat dedicated to the construction of the Africa independence. In consequence of this lamentable event, perhaps you will find some difficulties with a presumable reorganization of the internal services of your Office. However, as we have referred, we need urgently to go to Africa. Our struggle will can only acquire consistence on the African soil. We have already explained our problems in a “memorandum” which we have sent in April 29th to the Hon. Chairman of the Convention People Party. Our friend Amilcar L. Cabral has also explained recently other details about the question. Until today we don’t know exactly the purposes of your authorities about us. You know how some of us are in a delicate situation So we request you for an urgent authorization to enter in Ghana, at least as tourists. Then we shall can better clear your authorities about all questions relative to our problems. In the expectation of your news, will you accept our best regards. Yours very faithfully L. Lara (from the MAC Foreign relations) Please reply to L. Lara Camillo Sitteweg 71 FRANKFURT/MAIN 24 Deutschland
